Let us all fear Allah.

Assalamalikum.

Respected School Parents,

The school age is a foundational stage in the life of every child, where both the school and parents play a crucial role in shaping their future—not only academically, but also morally and spiritually.

It is our shared responsibility to guide our children in accordance with Islamic teachings. Encourage your ward to develop a deep love for Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) — more than anything else in this world. When this love is firmly rooted in their hearts, they will grow to be obedient, respectful, and God-fearing individuals.

Let us not be mistaken in thinking that providing education, meals, clothing, and shelter alone fulfils our parental duties. These are basic needs that even animals provide for their young. What sets us apart as human beings—especially as Muslims—is our duty to be moral guides and spiritual role models.

As parents, we must:

  • Be torchbearers of Islamic values for our children.

  • Teach them good character, kindness, honesty, humility, and modesty.

  • Correct them lovingly when we see them engaging in un-Islamic practices such as improper hairstyles, inappropriate dress, or disrespectful behaviour.

  • Never support or ignore deliberate wrongdoings out of misplaced affection.

Remember, we will be accountable before Allah for the way we raise our children. A child nurtured in love for the Prophet (pbuh) and Islamic values will, insha’Allah, grow up to be a good Muslim and a responsible citizen.

Let us all fear Allah in this responsibility.

With sincere concern,
Principal
